Pick your niche and platforms
A brand is not only looking for followers: it is looking for an audience that buys its kind of product. The clearer your content, the easier it is to offer you a deal. The themes brands look for on Inflow match the categories of the creator profile:
- Fashion and beauty: try-ons, routines, honest reviews;
- Food, home and kids: everyday life, where products are actually used;
- Tech and sport: tests, comparisons, tips;
- Lifestyle: a bit of everything, around your city or the way you live.
As for platforms, post where your audience spends time: Instagram, TikTok and Facebook for most Tunisian online stores, YouTube for long formats, Snapchat for a closer circle. One well-run account beats five abandoned ones. Your city matters too: a local audience that trusts you often orders more than a large, scattered one.
Land your first collaborations
- Talk about products you already use. An honest review of a small Tunisian store is the best business card.
- Reach out to stores close to your niche with two or three content examples, your city and the kind of audience that follows you.
- Offer a commission-based test. For a store that does not know you, paying on sales lowers the risk. For you, it is a chance to show what you sell.
- Ask for the product if you need to try it before talking about it. Some brands open free product requests to their creators.
Before posting, always ask: what rate, as a percentage or a fixed amount? On what base (products only or the order total)? When is commission earned? How soon are you paid? A serious brand answers clearly. For orders of magnitude, read how much to pay an influencer.
How commission works with cash on delivery
In Tunisia, most customers pay the courier in cash. A placed order is therefore not a sale yet: it can be refused at the door or returned. That is why most brands pay commission on delivered orders. A one-month example:
| Your orders | Count | Your commission |
|---|---|---|
| Placed through your link or code | 30 | Pending until delivered |
| Refused at the door or cancelled | 5 | 0 TND |
| Delivered, then returned | 2 | 0 TND (reversed) |
| Delivered and kept | 23 | 138 TND |
With Inflow, commission stays pending until delivery (some brands choose shipping or confirmation instead: your portal shows it for each brand). It then waits out a short hold for late returns and becomes available. A return after delivery reverses that order’s commission. If the brand set tiers, your rate rises with your delivered orders. Example figures. The details: commission on delivery.
Prove your sales, order by order
Screenshots of insights do not prove sales. On Inflow you open your own free creator portal (or a brand invites you), with your tracked links, your promo codes and a QR code. Each post can have its own link, so you see which reel or story sold. For every order you brought, you see its delivery status and your commission, exactly as the brand does. Your public page and the creators directory
Once your account exists, you can turn on your public page, at /creators/your-name/ on the Inflow site. It shows your photo, city, themes and platforms, and above all your results: the delivered orders Inflow tracked itself, how many brands you have worked with, and when you joined. The “Verified by Inflow” badge appears once at least 3 delivered orders were attributed to you automatically.
What the page never shows: your earnings, commissions, revenue, brand names or follower count. Put the link in your bio and in your messages to brands. Public pages also appear in the creators directory, filtered by city and theme, where brands come looking for profiles. See the creators page.
Getting paid on time
- Save your bank details once: account holder, IBAN and bank document (RIB). They are used for all your brands.
- When your balance is available, request a payout.
- The brand approves it; it is then due within 7 days, and a late payment is flagged on both sides.
- The brand pays by bank transfer. You confirm receipt, or report that the money did not arrive.
If a brand stops paying, you can pause your links for it in one click. Your tax status and declaring your income remain your own responsibility: ask an accountant. The whole flow is in getting paid by brands.
Questions about becoming an influencer
Do I need a lot of followers to start?
No. Stores want an audience that buys, not a number. A small, regular and honest local account can sell more than a big scattered one. Your verified delivered orders count more than your followers.
How do I get a creator account on Inflow?
Create it yourself on the creator portal, with your email (you confirm the address with a link) or with Google. It is free, always. Then complete your profile and turn on “List me in the directory” so brands can find you: they invite you, and you accept each brand on the same account.
What commission should I ask for?
There is no official rate. Ask for a clear rate paid on delivered orders, and check what it means per order. Some brands raise the rate in tiers as your delivered orders grow.
Why did an order earn me nothing?
It was most likely refused, cancelled or returned. Your portal shows each order’s status, the same one the brand sees.
How do brands find me?
Through your content, through the public page you share, and through the creators directory, where brands filter by city and theme.
Does my public page show what I earn?
No. It shows your verified delivered orders, how many brands you have worked with and when you joined. Never your earnings, brand names or follower count.
Does Inflow pay me directly?
No. The brand pays you by bank transfer to the account you saved. The money does not pass through Inflow, which takes nothing from your commission.
